The C-90A 15KN forward plate compactor is a particularly useful tool in narrow trenches, where it is employed to tamp sands, gravels, mixed soil, sub-base, walls, and abutments. The open-style base plate allows for easy cleaning. Its edge is rounded so that the whole plate can move in close to corners of the trench.
